Lolita Shannon

Lolita Shannon, daughter of William and Lillian Weaver Thirsty, was born on July 2, 1954 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on Sunday, September 1, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 1 month and 29 days. Lolita was a very family oriented person. Her family came first. She loved them deeply and cherished time spent with them. Lolita enjoyed beadwork, fishing, camping and family cookouts. She touched many lives over the years and will be remembered as a warm, loving person. She was preceded in death by her father: William Thirsty, brother: J.C. Thirsty and sister: Anita Fields. Those she left behind to keep her memory alive are her husband: Thomas J Shannon, of the home in Hulbert, OK, children: Eugenia Gino Osceola of Hulbert, Marlin Thirsty and wife Linda Tucker of Park Hill, OK, Nathan Shannon of Hulbert, granddaughter: Ashayah Nicole Thirsty of Park Hill, mother: Lillian Thirsty of Hulbert, sister: Judy and Lyle Coiner of Stilwell, brothers: Watie Thirsty of Stilwell, Billy Joe Thirsty and wife Sandy of Marble City, OK, Jimmy Ray Thirsty and wife Rolinda of Tahlequah, OK. Funeral services at 2 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Jimmy Thirsty and Adam Thirsty officiating. Interment followed at Echota Cemetery.
