Lorene Ross

Lorene Ross known to many as "Jencie" or "Jean" daughter of Charlie L and Nellie (Seabolt) Shell was born
February 14, 1934 in Adair County, Ok and departed this life on October 22, 2017 in Tahlequah, OK at the age
of 83 years, 8 months and 8 days.

Lorene's greatest enjoyment in life was raising kids. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing and hunting for many
things some to include wild onions, huckleberries and mushrooms. She worked at Campbell soup for many years to provide for her family. She also enjoyed cooking at the greasy community building and being a granny at Dahlonegah School.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Clint Nakedhead and William Ross, children; Carolyn Spoon and Gary Nakedhead and 1 sister; Madeline Reynolds.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Dena Ross of Tahlequah, Ok, Clint Nakedhead of Stilwell, OK, Huckleberry Nakedhead and wife Johnna of Sallisaw, OK, Barbara Barnes and husband Alton of Muldrow, OK, Thomas Nakedhead and wife Norma of Stilwell, Ok, Shannon Tiger of Tahlequah, Ok, Leland Nakedhead and wife Sharon, Dawn Nakedhead all of Stilwell, OK, Brandy Christie of Poteau, Ok, Brian Nakedhead and wife Veronica of Stilwell, Ok, Sherry Kinney of Eureka Springs, AR, 39 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren. Siblings; Pauline Laughter of Wagoner, OK, Johnny Sanders Sr. and wife Wanda, Stanley Shell and wife Nadine, Mary Vann, Ruby Jackson and husband Larry all of Stilwell, Ok, Soldier Shell and wife Katie of Jay, OK, Freeman Shell and wife Darlene of Chester, AR, Sam Shell of Stilwell, Ok, Joyce Green of Tahlequah, OK, Charlie Shell and wife Doris of Stilwell, OK, Nellie Sue Quetone and husband Clifford of Ft. Worth, TX, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Bro. Bill Woods, Bro. Floyd Kester, Jr. and Bro. Judge Fourkiller officiating. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma
