Louise Ritter, daughter of William and Daisy (Eagleton) Sisco, was born on December 9th, 1930, in Stilwell, Oklahoma and went to her heavenly home on Friday, March 25th, 2022, in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 91.
Louise was married to Joe Ritter for 31 years. They were blessed with four children: Joe, Jackie, Danny, and Brenda.
Louise’s life is a picture of her love for the Lord, her family and a true servant’s heart. She was a hard worker and truly enjoyed caring for her family. She cooked Sunday dinner, from the abundance of her gardening and canning efforts, each Sunday without fail and always had plenty for whomever was able to attend, whether family or friends. She was the absolute best at rocking a baby to sleep and could frequently be found with one in her arms. She served those in her family in many ways may it be always having ice cream on hand for grandkids, cooking, and cleaning, washing dishes, pitching to grandkids for hours on end, pushing swings at the park, gardening, canning, or just having an open home where anyone could enjoy her love and a wonderful meal. There are very few pictures where she wasn’t found either holding a grandbaby or washing dishes.
Louise served faithfully as treasurer for Stilwell Free Holiness Mission for 30 plus years. She worked at the Stilwell Canning Co. and Osburn's Laundry in her younger years. Later, she became a clerk for the Stilwell Mercantile until her retirement. True to her tendency for hard work and servanthood, she became a foster Grandparent for Maryetta School where she attended school as a child.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Joe; two brothers: Bill and Jim Sisco; six sisters, an infant, Barbara Sisco, Edna Price, Delphine Morton, Alyene Caviness, Bettye Abbott, and Revon Isaacs; one son: Danny Ritter; an infant grandson: Danny Wayne Ritter; two daughters-in-law: Lynda Hignite Ritter, and Janice O’Neal Ritter.
Louise is survived by a loving family that includes her sons: Joe Ritter and wife Kay, Jack Ritter and wife Patsy; daughter: Brenda Crozier and husband Robert, all of Stilwell, OK; daughter-in-law: Verna Ritter of Sallisaw, OK; one sister: Rita James of Stilwell, OK; 13 grandchildren; a host of great and great-great grandchildren; and many special nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was dearly loved and cherished by all who knew her.
