Mae Vanderheiden

Mae Vanderheiden, daughter of Bennett and Lily Chambers Vanderheiden, was born April 2, 1920 in Crawford County, Arkansas and passed from this life on Sunday, October 18, 2009 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 6 months and 16 days. Mae enjoyed keeping house and spending time outside gardening. She was of the Holiness faith and a member of the Free Holiness Church of Stilwell. She attended church every time the doors were open. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Virgil Vanderheiden and one daughter: Loetia Fourkiller. She is survived by her son: Bobby Vanderheiden and wife Jean of Gladstone, Missouri, her grandchildren: Mark Vanderheiden of Kansas City, MO, Kevin Vanderheiden and wife Peggy of Kansas City, MO, Lisa Fourkiller of Fayetteville, AR, Roger Fourkiller and wife Kate of Tulsa, OK, her great grandchildren: Jake, Rachel, Joseph and Timothy Vanderheiden of Platsburg, MO, Seth and Harmony Vanderheiden of Kansas City, MO, a sister: Polly Beck of Esparto, CA, sister in law: Bernice Vanderheiden of Stilwell, OK, son in law: Johnson Fourkiller and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the RobertsReed-Culver Funeral Chapel in Stilwell, OK with Bro. Richard Gardner officiating. Interment followed in Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReed-Culver Funeral Home.
