Margaret Smith

Margaret Ellen Smith 78 of Westville, OK passed away in Springdale, AR on January 27, 2023. Ellen was born in Tahlequah, OK on October 20, 1944 to Stella (Woodward) Freeman and Levi Freeman.

She attended school in Liberal, Kansas and Lincoln, AR. Ellen married Lawrence Smith of Westville, OK, and together they had 2 children, Kimberly Smith and Mark Smith.

She worked as a seamstress and enjoyed participating in painting, gardening, reading, sewing and going to church.

Ellen was also a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Stilwell, OK.

Ellen is survived by her husband Lawrence Smith and her two children, Kimberly and Mark Smith, a sister, Sally Gibson, plus many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her parents, Levi and Stella Freeman.
