Margaret Wood

Margaret Faye Wood was born on September 25, 1919 in Cincinnati, Arkansas to Joe Harrell and Katherine Ruth May Smith. She departed this life on Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 94.

She was a wonderful woman. Margaret loved her family and the time she spent with them. Margaret was an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed playing the piano and cooking for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Barbara Cantrel, husband: Robert Wood, step daughter: Beverly Marveggio and husband Brad, brothers: Pat, Billy, Carter and Delmer Smith, sisters: Nellie Mankins, Mary Sue Smith and Betty Joe Smith.

Margaret is survived by her sister: Shirley Johnson and husband J.D. of Cincinnati, AR, sisterinlaw: Sirgird Smith of Cincinnati, son: Kenneth Cantrel and wife Laura Lee of Westville, OK, grandson: Chris Lee and wife Shannon of Lincoln, AR, granddaughter: Andrea Cantrel of Jenks, OK, step granddaughter: Kyla Trammell and husband Jared of Springdale, AR, step grandson: Derek Marveggio and wife Kristyne of Springdale, great grandchildren: Jacob Cantrel, Dalton Lee, Cayden Lee, step great grandchildren: Tyler Choate, Breeley Trammell, Emmersyn Marveggio.

She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Roberts Hart Chapel with Paul Young officiating. Interment followed at Old Union Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ar.
