Marie Flynn

Marie Hooper Flynn, daughter of George and Annie Bendabout Hooper, was born March 13, 1936 in Claremore, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 in Westville, Oklahoma. Marie worked as a home health provider for 17 years until she became ill. She was loving, caring and liked to help others. She was a strong believer in the Lord. She would attend church until her health would not permit her. She loved spending time with family, friends and her grandkids. She also loved cooking, canning and sewing blankets. Everyone who knew her grew attached to her. She was a lovable person. Mother, Father, daughter, sister, brother and one infant sister preceded Marie in death. Her surviving family includes, husband of the home Sam Nofire, Stilwell, OK, three daughters: Lizzie Lee of Stilwell, Mary Sanchez of Westville, OK, and Carmella Nofire of Bunch, OK, four sons: Mike G. Adair of Hollister, MO, Jerry Adair, Prairie Grove, AR, Ned Flynn of Westville, OK, Russell Nofire of Stilwell, two sisters: Carolina Mouse and Georgie Mouse, grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2009 in the RobertsReed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ellis Foster officiating. Interment followed at Barber Cemetery, Welling, OK.
