Marie Ladrillero

Marie Pettit Ladrillero was born on June 25,1971 in Tahlequah, OK. She was the daughter of Jack and Mary Pettit. Marie went to her heavenly home on September 27, 2023 in Stilwell, OK. Growing up Marie attended Marble City Public Schools. She loved to hunt, fish, catch crawdads, and her favorite thing of all was playing softball. Marie always played for her dads team and she could play any position he put her. She played even after graduating from Sallisaw High School in 1989. Also her love for fishing never went away, her and her husband would go fishing every chance they got. She loved the holidays and just spending time with her family. 

Marie married on her birthday in 1994, to the love of her life Saturnino. They went on to have 7 beautiful kids that she loved so dearly. She always loved cooking homemade meals, so she started working as a cook at Stilwell Nursing Home. She later went to be cook at Maryetta School. Marie became a grandmother in 2010. She thought the world of all her kids and grandkids. In 2018, she began her first battle with cancer and over the last 5 years she continued fighting it with a smile on her face everyday. She had such strong faith and dedicated her life to the Lord. She never met a stranger and would do anything she could for anyone. She was always ready to lend a helping hand. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Michael Don Pettit and 1 grandson Javion Netro and 3 angel babies of her own. 

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Saturnino Ladrillero. They married on her birthday so he would never forget their anniversary. Also 8 children Alejandra, Miguel, Mariana and Foster Baby Maria Estrella Ladrillero all of the home, Jacinda Netro & husband Juan, Jacob Ladrillero & girlfriend Kyla all of Stilwell, Mateo Ladrillero of San Antonio, TX, Rosalia Ladrillero & fiancé Francisco and 2 special grandkids that she raised as her own Adriel & Aria Ladrillero.  She also leaves behind 7 other grandchildren that includes Jaedon Mouse, Jaxton & Jabrie Leach, Ellie & Jazela Netro, Ezekiel Mesa and Zavier Ladrillero. 1 brother Jack Pettit Jr. of Stilwell and 1 sister Jennifer Cartwright & husband James of Sallisaw. 

Also surviving her are nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and lots of cousins.
