Marie Turner

Marie Aylene Turner, born on September 11, 1954, has passed away on March 23, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and love. She was cherished by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth and compassion knew no bounds, making her a beloved figure in both her professional and personal circles.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Freeman and Dorothy Bennett, as well as her brother Darrell Bennett. She is survived by her beloved husband Stephen Turner, daughters Lisa Buteau (and husband Aaron) and Shannon Turner, niece Darrellyn Joslin and husband Darren, and many other relatives and friends.

One of Marie's proudest accomplishments was meeting the love of her life, Stephen, with whom she shared 41 beautiful years. Stephen was not just a husband but her rock and soulmate, making her feel safe and loved every day. Their bond was unbreakable, symbolizing true partnership and devotion.

Marie pursued her passion and obtained a Bachelor's degree in nursing, which led her to eventually become a Registered Nurse, where she dedicated an impressive 45 years to her career. Her passion for nursing shone brightly throughout her career, where she touched the lives of many with her expertise and care. 

Outside of her work, Marie was a woman of many dimensions. She loved her family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them, especially holding a special bond with her parents, brother and niece. Marie was an avid reader and also loved to travel; Aruba held a special place in her heart, a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for travel.

Marie's personality was characterized by genuineness, love, and boldness. She had a way of making everyone around her feel valued and appreciated. Her warm smile and kind heart endeared her to all who knew her.
