Mary Gladys Johnson, daughter of Alton and Linnie Parrish Beard, was born January 21, 1933 in Westville, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Friday, January 3, 2014 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age 80 years, 11 months and 13 days.

Gladys was a lifelong resident of the Westville area. She was well known and liked. Gladys met the love of her life Earl James Johnson in 1950 and they were blessed with a loving marriage and wonderful family. Gladys and Earl supported their family as farmerranchers. She was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Gladys will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Alton and Linnie Beard, husband: Earl Johnson, brothers: Leo Cliff Beard, sisters: Imogene Crosswhite, Eva Mae Maggard, Faye Tuttle, and infant brother and one great granddaughter: Peyton Williams.

Gladys is survived by a very loving family that includes children: Craig Johnson, Robin Hill and husband Bruce, Roy Johnson and wife Stacy, all of Westville, OK, grandchildren: James Hill and wife Stacy of Westville, Rebecca Cain and husband Steven of Proctor, OK, Kristi Williams and husband Patrick of Lamar, Arkansas, Kortney Morrison and husband Steven of Hawaii, Jake Johnson and companion Breanna Dart, Judy Gail McNeely, Buck McNeely, of Westville, great grandchildren: Alex, Davin, Kael, Silas Morrison, all of Hawaii, Tucker and Maggie Williams of Lamar, Brileigh Dart of Westville, Tristan King, Hunter Cain, Colton Couffer of Proctor, Kaelynn and Fallyn Hill of Westville, brothers: Jim Beard and wife Georgia of Yukon, OK, sisters: Artie Long and husband Bill of West Fork, AR, Dora Lagaly and husband Willie of Arlington, TX, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Roberts Hart Chapel with Bro. Jim Beavers officiating. Interment followed at Johnson Cemetery, West Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
