Mary Young

Mary Evangeline Young - Hunt, daughter of Walter and Ruby Hunt. Born July 12, 1938, in Las Mesa, California and departed this life on November 22, 2023, in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years, 4months, 10 days.

She was proceeded in death by husband Troy Young, daughter Lori, her parents, two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her children, Marilyn Golleher and husband Mike of Bakersfield, Ca., Troy Allen Young and wife Becky of Westville, Ok., Tim Young and wife Vicki of Westville, Ok., Kay Young of Fayetteville, Ark., Becky Durham and husband Bill of Fayetteville, Ark., one brother, Ken Hunt and Wife Ima of Loomis, Ca., two sister in laws, Helen and Melba. Mary had 25 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Mary was a loving wife of 67 years. She raised six children, and loved to travel with her husband. They enjoyed dealing with AirStream Trailers, traveling to Mexico with friends who enjoyed the same life. She and Troy would travel to Wyoming to stay with her brother as much as possible. Mary was a great conversationalist. She enjoyed telling about her and Troys life together. They loved their children and would do anything to help anyone in need. She loved the Lord, praised and would sing beautifully. Her early years were spent picking cotton, fruit and anything they could do to make a living. Mary and Troys life started out like a love story. She was an amazing lady to sit with and listen to. She will be missed.
