Some of her most fond memories included family vacations, fun nights of gambling in Laughlin NV., extravagant holidays, teaching her grandchildren how to can delicious fruits and vegetables, and enjoying a simple home-cooked meal. No matter what was going on, Maudie loved being surrounded around her family.

She pursued her passion for teaching by educating herself for many years ultimately obtaining her Masters Degree in Education. One of her most proud accomplishments was being an educator.
