Michael John Crook

Michael John Crook, age 74 of Stilwell, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mike was born on October 10, 1948 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was the son of Vivian and Senor (S.E.) Crook.

After High School and some college Mike worked for years in the Oil and Gas Industry and had lucrative career as a welder, traveling all over the Country.

Mike was a mountain of a man, with a huge heart. He enjoyed the outdoors, and loved riding his motorcycles as it was his “wind therapy.”

He will be missed by his friends and family making memories that will last a lifetime.

Mike was preceded in death by his dad, S.E. Crook and his mother, Vivian Ruth Crook.

Mike is survived by his brother, Jerry Crook of Meeker, Colorado.  His daughter, Michelle (Kevin) Smith of Stilwell, Oklahoma, grandson Benjamin Smith of Stilwell, Oklahoma and granddaughter Brianna (Dalton) Smith of Alma, Arkansas.

Cremation has taken place, no funeral services will take place per his wishes.

Mike will be interred in the City of Stilwell Cemetery.
