Michael O'Neal

Michael Mike ONeal son of William B. and Betty Whitaker ONeal was born January 20, 1947 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas and departed this life on Monday, June 24, 2013 in his home at Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 5 months and 4 days. Mike married Brenda Brannon on June 16, 1969 in Stilwell, Oklahoma by his grandfather Ross ONeal. Born to this union was two sons William and Scott ONeal. Mike served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Yorktown. Mike and Brenda made their home of 44 years in the Oak Grove community. Mike enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting with his family. Mike worked for Stilwell Foods for 39 years. He was a volunteer firefighter with Tri Community Fire Department. Mike was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, William ONeal and Betty ONeal, grandparents, Ross and Bess ONeal, sister, Paula Faddis and husband Melvin Faddis and mother and father in law, Ellen and Carlis Brannon. Mike is survived by his wife, Brenda ONeal of the home, son William ONeal and Sarah Durham, son Scott and Tina ONeal, grandchildren, Teresa Farmer, Houston Ingram and Bailey Ingram all of Stilwell. Brothers Keith ONeal and Jack ONeal, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive him. Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Bro. Clyde Quick and Bro. Roger Baker officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, Ok.
