Minnie Soap

Minnie Soap, daughter of Chulio Step and Dolly "Puppy" Duncan, was born on January 29, 1932 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with Our Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2017 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years, 2 months, and 9 days.

Minnie was a warm, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker who raised seven kids, loved to cook, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Minnie was a proud member of Salem Baptist Church. She also served on the Bell School Board for many years. Minnie always wore a smile everywhere she went, up to the day of her passing. She touched many lives while she was here with us and will be fondly remembered forever.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Nelson Soap, son: Lee Roy Soap and wife Karen, siblings: Fanny Glass, Taylor Duncan, Bob Duncan, Walter Duncan, Clint Duncan, Flynn Duncan, Samson Duncan, Sally Watie, Nellie Duncan, Sammy Glass, and son-in-law: Rick Swake, Charles D. Stilwell.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children: Juanita Stilwell, Peggy Sawney and husband Hershel, Nadine Ross and husband Larry, Shirley Soap, Larry D. Soap and wife Thelma, and Ruby Swake, grandchildren: Charlie Stilwell and wife Audra, Christopher Stilwell and wife Holly, Nikki Stilwell, LeeRoy Soap Jr. and companion Jennifer, Lawanda Soap, Nelson L. Soap, Jerry D. Soap, Meagan Soap and companion Gerid Byrd, Russel Bunch and wife Andrea, Joey Sawney and wife Lisa, Eric Sawney and wife Michelle, Bradley Sawney, Crystal McCullough and husband John, Barrett L. Teehee and companion Tristi, Deeandra Sam and husband Kyle, Lance Soap and companion Erlinda, Nicole Swake, Ricky Swake Jr. and companion Lora Miller, Kelli Swake, Cee B. Swake, 34 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Minnie is also survived by special nieces; Imogene York and Betty Galcatcher, many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and a multitude of friends.
