Monty Ross

Monty as we all know him, some of us will know him as "Rossco" departed this life on Saturday, Sept. 16,2017 at his residence in Stillwell, Oklahoma. Monty was born on Oct. 2,1967 to the parents of Derroll and Joyce Ross in Mineral Wells. He was 49 years old at the time of his death.

Monty went to school in Mineral Wells, Texas. All through his school years, Monty was active in the Boy Scouts and Order of the Arrow. He played in Pee Wee football, baseball and Junior High and Freshman team football. He was active in the FFA and auto shop during his school years. He loved to go fishing and hunting at any time and he loved his horses. Monty never met a stranger, always had a helping hand for anyone in need.

Monty is survived by the love of his life, Regina Ross of Stillwell, Oklahoma and all of Regina's family and their friends in Stillwell, Oklahoma; son, Casey Ross of Houston, Texas; his mother, Joyce Lee Ross of Mineral Wells; sisters, Melanie Ann Ross of Stephenville, and Kimberly Ross Jackson (husband, Jim Jackson) of Dublin, Texas, brother, Kevin Ross of Dublin, Texas with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding Monty's death was his father, Derroll Ross of Mineral Wells and grandparents, Roy and Mildred Hayes of Mineral Wells and grandparents Louis and Elsie Ross of Dublin.

A Memorial of Monty's life will be held on Sept. 30,2017 at the Mineral Wells Senior Center from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone is invited to come to share with the family their memories of Monty.
