Myrtle Dial

Alene Dial daughter of Alton Ben and Lillian Gail (Stevenson) Girdner was born February 9, 1934 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life surrounded by loved ones at her home in Welling on March 19, 2017 at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 10 days.
Alene loved horse races, yard work, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #2601 in Tahlequah, OK where she devoted much of her time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Fred Dial, siblings; Frank, Bryan, Ben and Bill Girdner and sisters; Sue Knight and Mary Parks.
Alene is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Connie Christie and companion Tim Davis of Welling, OK, Mike Girdner and wife Levita of Westville, OK, Grandchildren; Makala Fisher and Fiance′ Matt Trott of Tahlequah, OK, Jessie Kirk and companion Alisha of Welling, OK, Blade Girdner of Tahlequah, OK Great grandchildren; Allie Fisher, Aiden Fisher, Cadence Kirk, and Hunter Kirk, sister; Joyce McKee of Childress, TX, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Bro. Terry Mays officiating. Interment followed at Bunch Cemetery, Bunch, Oklahoma
