Nadene Briggs

Nadene Briggs, daughter of Tom and Ida Jackson Long was born July 3, 1926 in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 11, 2012 in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 85 years, 6 months and 8 days. She was a homemaker who enjoyed the duties of being a mother and grandmother to her family. Nadene was preceded in death by her parents, brothers John Long, Gene Long, Junior Long, Tommy Long and Raymond Long, one sister Zelma Gann. She is survived by a very loving family that includes her son Jack Guffey of Stilwell, OK, grandchildren Faith Camille Rogers and husband Dan of Jenks, OK, Heath Guffey and wife Lori of Springdale, AR, Beau Guffey of Fayetteville, AR. Great grandchildren Kobey Rogers and Alec Rogers both of Jenks, OK, and Gunner Guffey of Springdale, AR, one sister Gladys Blankenship of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her. Graveside services were held, Friday, January 13, 2012 in the Stilwell City Cemetery. Interment followed under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
