Neal Riley

Neal Frederick Riley, son of William Carl and Sally Shirley (Smith) Riley, was born on May 14, 1952 in Denver, Colorado and departed from this life on Monday, October 12, 2015 in Watts, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. After his return, Neal married Carolyn Needy and they settled in Watts, Oklahoma. He helped support his family as a truck driver for over 40 years. He enjoyed hot rods and unique cars.

Neal was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed outings with his friends and family. He was outgoing, fun to be around and enjoyed life.

His parents: William and Sally Riley, step father: Joseph Carl and brothers: Lee and Sean Riley preceded him in death.

Neal is survived by his wife: Carolyn Riley, of the home near Watts, Ok, daughter: Cathy Ward and husband Jeff, grandchildren: Cheyenne Riley, Jason Estep and Laramie Ward, all of Watts, nieces: Shirley Schroeder of Monet, MO, Shawna Riley and husband Jessie Boyden of Leadville, CO, special friends: Edith Bratt and the Goedereis Family.

Many other relatives and friends survive him.

Funeral services were held at 11 am on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Chuck Glass and Pastor Max Ford officiating. Interment with graveside services were held at 2 pm on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, AR.
