Nellie Rutledge

Nellie Pauline Rutledge, daughter of Elijah "Bud" and Eveline Iva (Taylor) Rutledge, was born on May 6, 1937 in Erick, Oklahoma and passed from this life on December 25, 2015 at the Stilwell Nursing Home in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 19 days.

Nellie was a gentle soul with a beautiful smile. She loved going to church. Nellie would ride the bus to church so she could show everyone where church was. She liked company and making friends. Nellie was always happy and loved her caregivers at Stilwell Nursing Home and Hays House Nursing Home.

Her parents: Elijah and Eveline Rutledge preceded her in death.

Nellie leaves to mourn her passing, sister: Dixie Harlin of Westville, OK, brothers: Bud Rutledge and wife Darline of Westville, Roy Rutledge of Hays House, Nowata, OK, sister-in-laws: Kathryn Rutledge of Stilwell, OK, Karen Rutledge of Perkins, OK, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 05, 2016 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Michael Jannise, Landmark Baptist Church, Westville, OK officiating. Interment followed at Proctor Cemetery, Proctor, OK
