Neomia Johnson

Neomia Opal Johnson, daughter of Lester and Maudie (Chancey) Taylor, was born on December 27, 1928 in Vian, Oklahoma and passed from this life surrounded by her family on Friday, October 6, 2017 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 88 years of age.
She worked as a Dietician at Stilwell Memorial Hospital for over 50 years.
Neomia was a member of the First Christian Church and attended faithfully when health permitted.
She enjoyed shopping, whether at a yard sale or the mall. Neomia loved a good find and bargains. She loved traveling, seeing the sights and visiting new places. She loved to be invited or included in activities with family and friends.
She was a warm, loving person. Neomia made many friends and touched many lives.
Her parents: Lester and Maudie Taylor, husband: Howard Johnson, brother: Earnest Taylor, sisters: Elva Cargill, Ruby Speck and Icie Key preceded her in death.
Those remaining to keep her memory include her niece: Maudie Mattox and husband Andrew of Stilwell, OK, great nephew: Andy Mattox and wife Michelle of Stilwell, step-son: Cecil Johnson and wife Loretta of Denver, CO, niece: Emma Jean Schmith of Denver, Barbara Cook of Vian, OK, Charlotte Trammel of Vian, Mildred Reynolds of Tulsa, OK, nephew: Kip Speck of Beggs, OK. She is also survived by several other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services to be held at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, Oklahoma on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 2 pm with Bro. Darrell Lacie officiating. Interment to follow at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.
