Nettie Raleigh

Nettie Mae Raleigh, daughter of John E. and Alice Watkins Beanstick was born December 23, 1919 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on August 5, 2009 at the age of 89 years, 7 months and 12 days. Nettie enjoyed attending church while her health permitted. She was a member of the Stilwell Church of Christ. She also enjoyed, sewing, reading, and flowers but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family whom she truly cherished. Nettie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; James Raleigh, 1 great grandson; Tony Faddis, 1 great-great grandson; Colorado Brown, 3 sisters; Hester Morten, Vivian Lindsey, and Sue Beanstick and 1 brother; Grant Beanstick. She is survived by a very loving family that includes 3 children; Duane Brown and wife Viva, Wanda McCully and husband Haskell, Retha Faddis and husband Wayne all of Stilwell, Ok, 8 grandchildren; Mike McCully of Stilwell, Ok, Kenneth Faddis and wife Nedra of Ft. Gibson, Ok, Bob Faddis and wife Carol, Jerry Faddis and wife Jolene, Allen Brown and wife Colleen, David Brown and wife Cindy, Kay Wooten and Husband Art, Faye Terry and husband Mark all of Stilwell, Ok. 20 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, several other relatives and many friends also survive her. Funeral Services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2009 in the RobertsReed-Culver Chapel with Joe Smith officiating. Interment followed at Zion Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReed-Culver Funeral Home.
