Nickie Soap

Nickie Soap, son of Jackson Soap and Katie Jones was born January 10, 1944 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on August 25, 2015 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age 71 years, 8 months and 15 days.

He loved race cars in his younger years. He was a member at Salem Baptist Church. He also enjoyed spending time with his great nieces and nephews and playing pool at the Senior Citizen Center where he will be missed.

Nickie was preceded in death by his parents,2 twin grandsons; Brayden and Ty Black, brothers; Charlie Samm, Wilkie Soap, Andrew Soap, and sister in law; Louanna Soap.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his daughter; Shelly Black and husband Preston, granddaughter; Sophie Cochran and husband Daniel, 2 great grandsons; Raylon and Kyron Cochran all of Stilwell, OK, sister; Leona Watie Black and husband Wendell of Stilwell, OK, 1 nephew; Thomas Scraper and companion Charlotte, nieces; Cheryl Soap, Kammy Catron and husband Lafayette, great nieces and nephews; Kristin Scraper, Samantha Scraper, Tamara Scraper, Mitchell Scraper and Justin Scraper, numerous other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. DJ McCarter and Bro. Gary Flynn officiating. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.
