Norma Dearman

Norma Jean Smith Dearman was born on August 25, 1947 to Rufus Mose Smith and Leona Marie BushSmith in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She departed this life at the age of 64 years, 1 month, and 26 days in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married Roy L Dearman on April 5, 1969 in Stilwell, Ok. They were blessed with fortytwo years of marriage as they made their home in the Bunch community. Norma cherished her family and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. When her health permitted, she enjoyed crocheting and working in her flowerbeds taking care of her roses. She was a blessing to all who knew her and touched many hearts. Norma is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Dwayne Smith and Sam Smith, and three infant siblings. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband Roy of the home her son Tony Dearman and wife Lisa of Anadarko, Ok daughter Tonya Murphy of Stilwell,Ok daughter Tina Dearman of Bunch, Ok daughter Stacy Hart of Bunch, Ok and grandchildren Tanner Dearman, Spencer Dearman, Kinsey Dearman, and Brady Murphy brothers Edward Smith, Tommy Smith, Dallas Smith, and Ben Smith all of Stilwell, Ok sisters Loretta Sumpter, and Sarah Fourkiller and husband Anthony of Bunch, Ok, Kelly Goodrich and husband Jake of Tahlequah and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Larry Eubanks officiating. Interment followed at Bush Cemetery in Marble City under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
