Ollie Josephine Riggs

Ollie Josephine Riggs, born May 13, 1943, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025. A cherished matriarch, Ollie’s life was a testament to love, family, and a profound dedication to her passions.

Ollie’s interests were as varied as they were fulfilling. She delighted in crocheting, gardening, and attending church. Ollie also enjoyed bowling and fishing in her younger years. 

Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lena Riggs, and her husband, William Riggs. Also preceding her are grandchildren, Richard Riggs and Will Riggs, and her great-granddaughter, Kayla Riggs.

She is survived by her four sons: William, Kenneth, Ronald, and Donald. She also welcomed daughter-in-law Linda Riggs into her family. Throughout her life, Ollie nurtured a large and vibrant family that includes a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

Remembered for her kindness and nurturing spirit, Ollie Josephine Riggs leaves a legacy that will be treasured by all who knew her. Her warm laugh and gentle heart will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the memories of her family and friends.
