Opal Mitchell

Opal Faye (Skaggs) Mitchell, an ordained Pentacostal Minister who led many to the Lord, was born on January 29, 1951.  She went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Opal was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd and Edna Skaggs, her sisters: Julia Smith, Norma Jean Hamilton and Betty Jo Skaggs, her brothers: Paul Skaggs, Jimmy Skaggs and Frank Skaggs.

Opal is survived by her husband, Roy Mitchell, of Stilwell, OK and her children: Bryan Hise of Farris, OK, Roy Smith of Stilwell, Lequita Hise of Atoka, OK, Jaqueline Iliff of Springdale, AR, Leanna Ellis and husband Steve of Stilwell, Deanna Akin and husband Matt of Stilwell, Tommi Lynn Birge of Siloam Springs, AR, Delana Williams and husband Chris of Bentonville, AR, Gail Mitchell of Devine, TX and Lisa Nixon and husband Wesley of Jourdanton, TX.  She was blessed with many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous friends.

Opal enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling with her husband. She also loved being surrounded by her kids and grandkids.
