Pamela Inez Duffield, daughter of Emert Clinton and Mary Elizabeth (Clay) Philpott, was born on February 26, 1937 in Barber, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Friday, April 14, 2017 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years.
Inez, was first and foremost a tongue talking, prayer warrior, Holy Ghost filled child of God!
Inez was also a preacher's wife, which I have been told isn't easy. She was a singer and seamstress of the best barbie doll clothes. Inez was a historian that loved keeping a journal and did so for 50 years. She loved to collect stamps.
In terms of a life's profession her choice was to become a cosmetologist or hairdresser, which she did for over 20 years.
Inez's unwavering relationship was Jesus Christ was a source of strength that many drew from. Her compassionate heart was a strong character trait that was evident to all she came in contact with.
Pamela Inez Duffield was everything a wife, mother and grandmother should be, her absence leaves a hole that can't be filled on this side of eternity. What a comfort it is to know that while she is absent from her body she is present with her Lord.
Pamela was preceded in death by her husband: Tommy Duffield, parents: Emert and Mary Philpott, sisters: Coweta Fixin, Sue Buckner, Marie Davenport, Juanita "Pete" Johnson, brothers: Mack Philpott, George Philpott and Gene Philpott.
She is survived by her daughter: Kimberly Dawn Duffield, grandson: Scott Thomas Duffield and brother: Dick Philpott and wife Carrie, all of Stilwell, OK, brother-in-law: James Allen Buckner, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and a host of friends.
