Philip Lee Bramlett, son of Paul Eugene and Olive Jane Beaty Bramlett, was born May 3, 1942 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and departed this life on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 69 years, 2 months and 2 days. Phil was a third generation meat cutter. He was a self taught cook, chef and caterer. He was an artist that loved to surprise his guests with his beautiful food creations. Phil enjoyed catering events such as the Hayes 4th of July Picnic Dinner. It gave him the opportunity to see friends and meet new people. While he lived in Colorado, he served as an EMTParamedic. He was an avid hunter. He lived for the trips to Alaska and Colorado, when he could hunt moose, elk and catch his limit of trout. Waking up to see the morning fog over his small herd of buffalo on the farm were quiet and peaceful moments for him. Phil was a benevolent man, who supported the Westville High School Scholarship Fund as often as possible. He was always there for young men and women that were in need of a break. He would assist them in every way that he could to help them excel in life. Phil had been a prominent businessman in Westville for over 23 years. His restaurant, Phils Country Fare, is world renowned for its commitment to excellence. Many will remember his smile and down to earth demeanor. He was welcoming to all. Preceding him in death are his parents: Paul and Olive Bramlett, brother: Paul Eugene Bramlett, Jr. Mourning his passing is his wife: Caroline Bramlett of the home near Westville, motherinlaw: Betty Holland of Highfill, AR, children: Lee Bramlett and wife Tammi of Dallas, TX, Michelle Worley and husband David of Westville, Stephanie Roberts and husband Jason of Westville, grandchildren: Chantee Redding and husband Jon and Emily Bramlett of Arlington, TX, Brooke Bramlett and Ida Rose Bramlett of Dallas, TX, Shannon Sumpter and husband Jeff of Vian, OK, Micah Rissler of Stilwell, OK, Kendra Roberts and Megan Roberts of Siloam Springs, AR, great granddaughter: Jordan Crittenden of Vian, siblings: John Bramlett of Sand Springs, OK, Ruth Pierce of Colorado Springs, CO, Ester Taylor and husband Larry of Seibert, CO, special friends: Trina Burdge and SSG. James Roberts. Phil is also survived by a multitude of other relatives, friends and acquaintances. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Westville High School Auditorium, Westville, Oklahoma with Chris Harrison and Bobby Johnson officiating. Interment followed at Highfill Cemetery, Highfill, Arkansas under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home, Westville, Oklahoma.
