Phyllis Pruitt

Phyllis Carol Pruitt, daughter of Philip L. Howard and Billie Kindle Howard, was born on May 25, 1952 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Thursday, March 14, 2013 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years, 9 months and 19 days. Phyllis was a wonderful mother, daughter and friend. She had a smile that warmed your heart and made the world a little better. Phyllis enjoyed cooking, walking, working crosswords and watching old game shows and anything with Elvis. She will always be in the hearts of those who were blessed to have her in their lives. Her father: Philip Howard and the father of her children: Albert Pruitt, Jr. preceded her in death. She is survived by a loving family that includes her children: Rhonda Allen and husband Craig of Jonesboro, AR, Shelly Steddum and husband Allen of Chouteau, OK, Albert Pruitt III and Kevin Pruitt, both of Canon City, CO, sisters: Pam Hall, Marilyn Edmisten, both of Westville, OK, Jannette Elliott of Tulsa, OK, mother: Billie Howard of Westville, special friend: Robert Bartlett of Westville, other relatives and many friends. Memorial services were held at 11 am on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Mountain View Baptist Church, Westville, OK with Bro. Larry Kindle officiating. Roberts Hart Funeral Home, Westville.
