Regina Bogart

d. November 29, 2009

Regina Kay Owl Bogart, daughter of Joseph Robert Junior and Reba Marie Green Kester, was born on April 24, 1953 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on November 29, 2009 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years, 7 months and 5 days. She was a very loving mother and grandmother to her family and was known to some as Nanny Alice. She was a very hard worker sometimes working 3 jobs at a time to support her children. She was diligent in everything she did. Whether it was working to support her family, being a mother and grandmother or serving God. Her faith never grew weak. She never questioned the things she had to endure. She always knew God had a plan for her. She will be remembered by most for never passing up an opportunity to share her love of Christ with others whether it be a co-worker or someone visiting her bedside. Even in her final moments she once again was still praising God. She will be greatly missed only for a short time until we meet again in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her father: Junior Kester, grandparents: Iva Lee and Joe Bob Kester, Walter and Annie Green, her 1st husband: Dennis Owl, nephew: Clay Stilwell and brother-in-law: Billy Wayne Stilwell. Regina is survived by a very loving family that includes 3 children: Anthony Owl and wife Geisla, Randy Bogart and wife Alina, Misty Longshore and husband Kevin, 10 grandchildren: Brody, Chelsey and Broc Owl, Morgan, Lane, Gatlin and Remington Bogart, Chase, Logan and Avery Longshore, her mother: Reba Kester, 9 siblings: Hazel Gonzales and husband Emmott, David Kester and wife Carol, Robert Kester, Eugene Kester and wife Susan, Kathy Overton and husband John, Donna and Will Kennedy, Dale Kester and wife Tammy, Angela Kester, Tammy Catron and husband Robert, aunt: Mamie Claphan, friend: Jerry McClendon, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at RobertsReed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Danny Ross, Bro. Jimmy Jones and Bro. Ronnie Ford officiating.
