Rhonda Burke

Rhonda Jean Burke, the daughter of Randy Burke and Frances Hignite , was born on December 18,1977 in Stilwell, OK and passed away on May 4, 2023 in Jay, Ok at the age of 45 years 6 months and 14 days.

Proceeded in death by her father Randy Burke, sister Kristen Burke, paternal grandparents TJ and Patsy Burke, maternal grandparents Ernie and Edna Clinton.

Rhonda is survived by her mother Frances Hignite, step mother Tina Burke, her 2 children Nerissa and Dylan, sister Rachel, brothers James and Brandon Burke. Nieces and nephews, Anthony, Nathan, Bryan, Alexa, Emily. Layla, Jessie, Sandi, Dominic, & Audrey. And lots of cousins and many more family members.


Rhonda loved her two kids Dylan and Nerissa. When Nerissa graduated high school and Dylan became a marine, she was the proudest mom. Her passion was being a hair dresser and a caregiver.  Rhonda enjoyed cooking and riding motorcycles with her boyfriend Bryan. She liked to hang out with her Mom, friends, and family, going to the creek, and enjoyed shopping for all her nieces and nephews.

When Rhonda showed up, you knew she was around. She was always loud and very proud lol. She was a very wild spirit and didn’t care what anyone thought of her. Rhonda was a good listener and a good friend, Her light shined bright for many.  If you were her friend, she made you a part of the family, as if she had known you for years. Rhonda tried to be there and to help as many people as she could. Rhonda will be missed by everyone!
