Richard Poindexter

Richard Poindexter, son of Earl and Francies (Mitchell) Poindexter was born December 27, 1957 in Vivian Louisiana and departed this life April 8, 2021 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 63years 3months and 19days.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Francies Poindexter, his sister's Sylvia Poindexter, Connie Poindexter, and Kathy Brown(Poindexter), and two brothers, Buddy Poindexter and Norman Poindexter.

He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Eva Poindexter of Oaks, OK, his siblings Lonnie Poindexter and wife Linda of Shreveport, LA, Archie Poindexter of Newalla, OK, Teddy Poindexter and wife Lucy of Drumwright, OK, Johnny Poindexter of Evansville, AR, Doyle Poindexter of Evansville, AR, Jackie Broussard of Trinity, TX his children Richard Price of Exline, IA, Sylvia Price of Clarksville, TN, Brandi Bailey of Cuba, MO, Brandy Roberts of Sallisaw, OK, Teddy Roberts of Broken Arrow, OK, Sam Poindexter of Peggs, OK, Mellisa Louis of Oklahoma City, OK, Angie Bolinger of Westville, OK, Robert Shivers of Independence, KS several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Richard was a truck driver of 26 years and one hell of a mechanic. He was a loving husband and father. He also really enjoyed fishing and watching western movies.
