Robert Nofire, Jr.

Robert Nofire Jr, son of Robert Sr. and Euna Belle Coleman Nofire was born May 7, 1931 in Nicut, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on May 29, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years and 22 days. He loved to fish and enjoyed taking care of his grandkids. He worked hard to provide for his family and spent most of his time working at the furniture factory in Ft. Smith, AR and for Simmons. He was a member of New Green Church. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers Clifton Nofire, Abel Nofire, James Nofire and Jackson Nofire. He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife Thelma Nofire of Twin Oaks, OK, 2 children Nathan Nofire and wife Joni of Jay, OK, and Gina Alacorn and husband Salvador of Springdale,AR, 6 grandchildren Colton, Bailey, Dalton, Ayden, Alexis and Heydi. 4 Siblings Jerry Nofire of Stilwell, OK, Mose Nofire and wife Mary of Nicut, OK, Akie Gourd of Tahlequah, Ok, Margaret Terrapin of Stilwell,Ok, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive him. Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Belfonte Baptist Church with Bro. Levi Eagle and Rev. Jimmy Jones officiating. Interment followed at Belfonte Cemetery.
