Roberta England

Roberta Lynn England was born on June 30, 1975, in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Billy Ray Flynn and Charlene England and departed this life on February 9, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 47 years, 7 months, and 10 days.

Birdie was an amazing mother to Petey, and she loved him dearly. He had brought so much joy into her life; they had a one-of-a-kind mother and son bond. Birdie will always hold a special place in our hearts. She was the oldest of her siblings and cousins too. She enjoyed family dinners, gatherings, and the holidays. Her hobbies included looking for “GOLD”, crafting, and changing her clothes. She also loved her special trips with her aunts: Liza and Carolyn. Birdie had a wonderful sense of humor and a big heart; well most of the time. No matter how bad her health was she still had a good attitude. She always looked after her family, and they all looked up to her.

We will meet again someday; Mom and I’ll tell you my life stories and adventures. I will see you soon at the gates of Heaven waiting for my long-awaited embrace of your arms…

Roberta was preceded in death by her mother: Charlene England; brother: Thomas England, Sr.; sister: Melanie England; nephew: Anthony Chavez; and grandparents: BB and Thelma (England) Livers, and Tom and Lizzie Flynn.

She is survived by he son: Pedro B. Martinez; siblings: Rodney England and companion Judith Wilson, Melissa England, and Clarissa England and companion Gregorio Rueda all of Stilwell, Oklahoma; aunt: Carolyn Leach and husband Albert; uncles: Benny Grigsby and wife Kendra, and John Grigsby and wife Debbie; one nephew: Carlos Alvarado and wife Chasity; nieces: Lindsey Robinson of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Whitnee Robinson of Kansas, Oklahoma, Krystal England, and Hailey Chavez both of Stilwell, Oklahoma; and many close cousins, friends, and family.
