Stilwell

Rosa Brown the daughter Blane and Kindless (Ex) Workman, was horn in Natural

Dam, Arkansas on September 8, 1917 and departed this life on December 25, 2020

in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

She was a member of Four Corners Church and was baptized on December 14.

1975. Rosa was an avid reader of her bible and she even checked off every chapter

when she was done and on some she listed when she started them and when she

finished them.

Rosa was the oldest of 12 kids and a hard worker her whole life. She retired from

Stilwell Foods in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She was quite the lady. She did not have to

have the best: she was so utterly practical and enjoyed the simple things. Rosa was a

lady of dignity. She was the ultimate family person. It you showed up, she was ready

to feed you and you could not say no to her fried potatoes.

Her life as a Mother her much happiness, then grace rained down, her children grew and then joy overflowed and she became a Granny.  A title she loved and enjoyed.  Not only her family but to many she was and always will be “Granny Rosie.”

Rosa had many hobbies which included gardening, canning, her flowers, cattle, and

quilting. Before her hands would no longer allow her to do so, she made sure all her

loved ones had a quilt to remember her by.

So, please remember her fondly, remember her love, her sense of humor, and her

playful side, because she was our Mom, our Granny and we will miss her so.

Rosa is preceded in death by her husbands: Cliff Brown and father of her children,

John Brown (Buss), her parents, 3 children, 5 brothers, 4 sisters, and 2 grandchildren.
