After 28 years of marriage, her husband died. At the age of 68 years, she enrolled in Rhema Bible College, Tulsa, OK and graduated at 70. Rosie returned to Stilwell to care for her aging mother. At 73, she met Carol Ruben at the PHC in Stilwell, where they were married. This union lasted until Carol's death.

Rosie hosted Bible studies in her home until 2017 and before her death, Rosie said, "I've had a full life and everything is ok with the Father. I'm ready to go."
