Roy Murray

Roy Edward Murray, son of Roy and Jessie Dean Whittingon Murray was born October 10, 1952 in Coweta, Oklahoma and departed this on October 29, 2010 in Tahlequah, Ok at the age of 58 years and 19 days. He was a very loving husband and father to his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Roy was preceded in death by his father Roy Murray, 4 brothers Jessey, Losey, Tommy, and Bobby Murray, sisters Jewel Mae Mullins and Eva Rae Murray, 1 sister in law Dana Murray and his grandparents Jesse and Mildred Murray. He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife Phyllis Murray of the home in Westville, Ok, 2 sons Jason and Daniel Murray of the home in Westville, Ok, his mother Jessie Dean Duffey of Wagoner, Ok, brothers Billy Murray of Eufaula, Ok, Ellis Murray of Oklahoma City, OK, Junior Murray and wife Marilyn of Wagoner, Ok, Mitchell Murray of Oklahoma City, Ok, Charles Murray and wife Christina of Wagoner, Ok. Sisters Linda Anderson and husband Wayne of Stilwell, Ok and Shirley Thayer and husband Buddy of Wagoner, Ok, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him. Grasveside services were held, Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Terrell Cemetery with Donna Thomas officiating. Interment followed under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
