Ruby Horn

Ruby Lee Horn, daughter of James Levi and Beatrice (Dearman) Hudson, was born November 28, 1926 in Cherokee County, OK and departed this life surrounded by loved ones on August 22, 2016 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 89 years, 8 months and 24 days.
Ruby was of the Baptist Faith.
She was an avid gardener and enjoyed canning her crop. She also enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by her parents; James and Beatrice Hudson, infant son; L.D. Barklage, son; Ralph Douglas Gilbert, sisters; Glynnis Hudson, Jimmie Wadsworth, brothers; Sam Hudson, Richard Hudson and Bennie Hudson.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her grandchildren; Douglas James Gilbert, Charise Christie both of Stilwell, OK, great grandchildren; Autumn Gilbert, Jacob Christie, Jayli Christie all of Stilwell, OK, sister; Dollie Smallen of Stilwell, OK. Nephew; Jerry Smallen, nieces; Alice Faye Jack and Lola Hake, several other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016 Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Pastor Max Ford officiating. Interment followed at Caney Cemetery, Welling, Oklahoma
