Ruby Sellers

Ruby Frances Sellers, daughter of William Thomas and Ollie Goldman Reed, was born on August 25, 1929 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with her Lord on Monday, August 30, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years and 5 days. Ruby lived in the Stilwell area for most of her life. She loved to go to church and attend singings. Ruby was a wonderful cook. Her family and friends fondly remember all of the meals she prepared. She never let you leave her table hungry. Ruby enjoyed canning and quilting, but most of all, she loved the time that she was able to spend with her family. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents: William and Ollie Reed, husband: John Everett Sellers, son: William John Sellers, siblings: Pauline Byers, J.C. Lane, Cherry Lane, Hank Reed, Oda Reed and 3 infant siblings. Family left to cherish her memory include: daughterinlaw: Roberta Sellers, grandchildren: Mark Sellers, Gina Sellers, Brooke Bunch and husband Bryan, Matt Sellers and wife Misty, greatgrandchildren: Joshua, Josiah, Jacob and Trenton Goates, Kirsten, Haley and Tyler Bunch, Chasity and Levi Sellers, Justin, Dustin and Gregory Dress, Many other relatives and friends also survive her. Graveside services were held Friday, September 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Honey Hill Cemetery with Bro. Richard Gardner officiating. Interment followed under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
