Rufus Glass

Rufus Paul Glass, son of George and Fanny Glass, was born on September 14, 1958, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He would depart from this life on April 21, 2023, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, at the age of 64 years old.

Rufus was beyond loving, caring, friendly, helpful, and a hard-working man with a heart of gold. He loved watching his great grandbabies play and listened to all their stories.

Rufus enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and hanging out with the guys. Sundays were a good day for him for watching the games with the grandchildren and arguing with his wife about which team was going to win.

Rufus was a happy Papa who would light up every time he heard a tiny voice call out for him. He is loved and will be missed more than he will ever know.

Those left to cherish Rufus’s memory are his wife Sallie Glass and children; his mother Fanny Glass; his sister Nancy and husband Santiago Crispiniano; his five brothers Roger, Edward, Mitchell, Andrew, Russell Glass and companion Darlene Soap; nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father George Glass Jr.; brother John T. Glass; and baby Lylah.
