Sandra Springwater

Sandra Oleta Springwater was born on July 7th, 1942 in Parker County, Texas to Fannie (Chunn) Watkins and David Watkins. She passed this life on January 23rd, 2023 at her home in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

Sandra was married on April 29th, 1966 to Wilke Springwater in Weatherford, Texas. They spent the last 56 years building a loving marriage and friendship.

Sandra was a nurse and nurse administrator throughout her lifetime. She was proud of the work she did in and out of the lives of others. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star organization from 1985 until her passing. Sandra embraced what it means to be apart of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was devoted to making a positive difference in the world with charitable works, lasting friendships, and loving kindness to all mankind.

Sandra also enjoyed other hobbies such as fishing, going on nature walks, and listening to gospel music. She was a loving caring woman taking notice of the small but big things in life. She was the epitome of what it truly means to "Stop and Smell the Roses".  Sandra's loving heart would later cause her to fall head over heels for two canine companions Boomer the Pit Bull and CoCo the English Bulldog. She cherished these pups as if they were her children, and to her that is exactly what they were. Sandra will be missed by all who loved and adored her.

Those left to cherish Sandra's memory are her husband Wilke Springwater of the home, sister: Caroline Faulkenberry of Millsap, TX, brothers: Paul L. Watkins of Black, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: John D. Watkins, and James E. Watkins.
