Sandy Groom

Sandy Kay Groom, daughter of Ross and Virginia Locust Shell was born July 23, 1959 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on November 12, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 51 years, 3 months and 20 days. She was a very creative person and could make anything. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved watching Tyler Perry movies. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents 2 sisters Betty Ann White and Jackie Pinkerton. She is survived by a very loving family that includes her 2 daughters Tanya Groom of the home in Stilwell, OK, and Haley Groom of Siloam Springs, AR, 4 siblings Jim Shell, Jerry Shell, Kathy Littledave and husband Gary, Connie Shell all of Stilwell, OK. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive her. Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the RobertsReedCulver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Todd Dowty and Bro. Chris Galcatcher officiating. Interment followed in the Fourkiller Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
