Shadoe Hodge

Shadoe Lynn Hodges, daughter of Michael D. Hodges and Betty Lou Ross was born May 12, 1989 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on October 1, 2010 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 21 years, 4 months and 19 days. She graduated from Colcord High School and was a member of Elm Prairie Church. She loved cosmetology and loved to babysit her nieces and nephews. She loved to take long walks and really enjoyed the outdoors. She also liked to swim, liked the Pirates of Caribbean movies and to read her bible. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Polly England, Mace Sanders, Charles Hodges, niece Shallow Beemer. She is survived by a very loving family that includes her parents Michael D. Hodges and Betty Lou Ross both of Colcord, Ok, sisters Ranetta Nofire of Muskogee, Ok, Cary Nofire and Jennifer Nofire both of Colcord, Ok, grandparents Tiney Hodges of Colcord, Ok, Annie Downing of Spavinaw, Ok, 6 nieces, 6 nephews, uncles Andrew Sanders, Randolph England, Dion England, Carson Sanders, Shawn Sanders. 2 favorite aunts Frances Nofire and Ann Ross, several cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive her. Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar Tree Assembly Grounds with Bro. Joe Christie officiating. Interment followed in the Cedar Tree Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
