In Loving Memory of Sharon Ruth Kelly
September 9, 1953 - June 25, 2023
Sharon Ruth Kelly, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in Tulsa on June 25, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 69 years old.
Born on September 9, 1953, in Florence, Oregon, Sharon brought joy and light to the lives of all who knew her. She was the cherished daughter of Tommy and Dortha Asbill.
Throughout her life, Sharon faced challenges with unwavering strength and determination. She drew strength from her faith, navigating life's ups and downs with resilience and grace. Although her heart carried the pain of losing her parents, Tommy and Dortha, and her precious granddaughter, Jordan Kelly, Sharon's spirit remained unyielding.
Sharon is survived by her daughters Regina Gist of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Melissa Coleman of Bunch, Oklahoma, and son Harold Kelly of Stillwell, Oklahoma, who each shared a special bond with their mom and will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She is also survived by one brother Tommy Carl Asbill of Bunch, Oklahoma. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Sharon Ruth Kelly's presence touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we bid farewell to our dear Sharon, let us celebrate the joy she brought, the laughter she shared with us.
Sharon leaves behind her closest friend, Daisy, who describes Sharon as adventurous, social, and devout in her faith. Sharon was never afraid to meet others, get to know them, and love them. Her faith showed through the most when she sang gospel in church. Sharon also was never afraid to live life to its fullest when the mood struck her. She was fearless and open to new things as we only wish we could be.
Sharon will forever be missed, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. May her soul find eternal peace and rest, knowing that she was deeply loved and admired by all who knew her.
