Shirley Tibbit

Shirley Ann Kelley Tibbit , daughter of Elbert Byrl and Maggie Waters Kelley was born November 2, 1936 and departed this life on July 17, 2011 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 74 years, 8 months, and 15 days. Shirley graduated from Stilwell High School and worked at a clerk in her parents business, Kelleys Department Store and later was secretary for the First Christian in Stilwell. She enjoyed her family and friends and was a member of the First Christian Church in Stilwell. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents: Byrl and Maggie Waters Kelly. She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children: Karen Dotson and husband David of Stilwell, OK Gary Tibbit and wife Donell of Stilwell, OK Debbie Smith and husband Rick of Pocola,OK. Eight grandchildren: Adam David Allen and wife Annette of Franklin, Ind Amanda Catherine Yates and husband Robert of Sherwood, AR Rebecca Lee Tibbit and companion Jeremy Ingram of Evansville AR Matthew Tibbit and wife Kelsey of Prairie Grove, AR Delana Vann and husband Mike of Woodall, OK Jerod Neale and companion Candice Hopkins of Stilwell, OK Gayla Neale of Pocola, OK Kaitlin Ellis and companion Eric Grim of Sallisaw, OK. She is also survived by her brother: Byrl David Kelley and wife Rosalee of Tulsa, OK and 12 greatgrandchildren. She will be missed by all her relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at First Christian Church, Stilwell, Ok with Kevin Spurlock officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
