Shirley Ann Workman, daughter of Benton and Gracie (Unger) Wilson, was born on March 15, 1948 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at 69 years of age.
She was born and raised in the Honey Hill Community. She graduated High School and went on to sell Real Estate for over 16 years. Shirley also worked as a Preschool Custodian for over 16 years.
She married Kenneth Workman is 1965 and they were blessed with over 52 years of marriage. She was a member of Elm Grove Church and attended as long as she was able.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents: Benton and Gracie Wilson, brothers: Kenneth Wilson, James Wilson, Bennie Wilson and Howard Wilson, grandchildren: Coty Olinghouse and Jakobi Teehee.
She leaves behind a loving family that includes her husband: Kenneth Workman of the home in Stilwell, OK, children: Kevin Workman of Springdale, AR, Kenda Sam of Stilwell, Shelly Bass and husband Chris of Siloam Springs, AR, grandchildren: Chelsie McGinnis and wife Loren of Spiro, OK, Raven McGinnis of Rogers, AR, Dalton Bass of Siloam Springs, great grandchildren: Dominic Teehee and Jakobi Teehee, Jr. of Tahlequah, OK, sister: Linda Daigneault of Stilwell, brothers: Waylon Wilson and Wade Wilson of Stilwell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Wiley Lovejoy officiating. Interment followed at Ewing Chapel Cemetery, Stilwell, OK
