Spencer Morris

Spencer T. Pete Morris, son of Dennis Vernon and Mildred Eugenia Lyons Morris was born December 18, 1941 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on October 14, 2010 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 68 years, 9 months, and 26 days. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and cooking but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Mildred Morris and 1 brother Ted Morris. Pete is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife Faye Hummingbird of Stilwell, OK, 2 daughters Kimberly Kaye Glass and husband Rick of Rogers, AR, Sonja Spray and husband Jim of Stilwell, OK, 3 Step Children Donna Hummingbird of Kansas, OK, Rhonda Hummingbird and Kevin Hummingbird of Stilwell, OK, Grandchildren Ashley Kaye Glass of Stilwell, OK, Brandy Jo Spray of Tulsa, OK, Spencer Tyler Spray of Stilwell, OK, 4 step grandchildren Kyp, Lynzie, Madison and Kelsey. 2 brothers Carl Morris and wife Tresa of Stilwell, OK, Hank Morris and wife Eugenia of Westville, OK, 1 sister EmmaBelle Abbott of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him. Funeral services were held, Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Richard Gardner officiating. Interment followed under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
