Opal Sue Neale Cruse
March 5, 1947 February 26, 2014
Sue, writer, singer and traveler extraordinaire, journeyed to her final destination on Wednesday, February 26 in Springdale, Arkansas.
She was the middle child of eleven born to Bruce and Mabel Neale in Christie, Oklahoma.
She was a proud graduate of Westville High School, class of 1965. She loved attending the reunions. She held many professions throughout her life, but her greatest love was writing. Creativity flowed from her in every aspect of her life. She loved beauty and found it wherever she went.
She was told she had a oneinamillion chance of having children. So, she took great pride in being second mom to her nieces, Latisha Dawn and Maygen Jaylynn. She did her best to spoil them to the fullest extent.
In 1988, Sue received her oneinamillion blessing, LaSondra Sue. Sister Patty, enjoyed returning the favor of spoiling her.
Sue loved spending time with her family, especially her girls Latisha, Maygen LaSondra. She found great joy in chasing everyone around with her video camera. If she met you once, in the last five years, its very likely she has a video of you.
She enjoyed playing dominoes with her extended family at the Westville Nutrition Center and her sweetie, Fred.
Sue is survived by her sweetheart, Fred Simington, of Westville, OK, sisters: Leona Chapman, of Minneapolis, MN, Wanda Roberson and husband David of Westville, OK, Gail Neale of Muskogee, OK, Patty Clinton and husband Bobby of Westville, brothers: Troy Neale and Jody Neale of Westville, Kenny Neale and wife Tracy of Broken Arrow, OK, daughter: LaSondra Sue Cruse and fianc Jesse Doshier of Siloam Springs, AR, special nieces Latisha Goodall and husband Waylon of Westville, Maygen Clark of Westville, special great nieces Kylie and Hannah Goodall of Westville, special great nephews Jakob and Keegan Clark of Westville, Judah Goodall of Westville, step grandchildren Jessica and Jacob Doshier of Siloam Springs, AR and a host of relatives and loved ones, too numerous to name, but loved equally the same.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Bruce and Mabel Neale, sisters: Judy Bynum, Dorothy McDonald and Teresa Frandsen.
We have peace knowing that Sue is dancing to the beat of her own drum in Heaven and we will never, ever forget our sweet, smiling SueSue
