Sue Horn

Sue Ann Horn, daughter of Cloyd and Myrtle Cochran Paden, was born on May 20, 1941 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on Friday, November 20, 2009 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years and 6 months. Sue joined with Gary Horn in Holy Matrimony on November 18, 1958. They were blessed with 51 years of marriage. To this union 4 children were born: Tom, Marty, Sherry and Kristy. She enjoyed the duties that followed her role of being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Sue spent 20 years as a cook at Stilwell High School, where she is still remembered fondly. She will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents: Cloyd and Myrtle Paden, brothers: Floyd Sonny Paden, J.C. Paden, sisters: Wilma Isaacs and Patty Paden. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband: Gary Horn of the home in Stilwell, OK, sons: Tom Horn and wife Connie of Stilwell, OK, Marty Horn and wife Pam of Westville, OK, daughters: Sherry Clark and husband Randy of Pocola, OK, Kristy Croley and husband Matt of Stilwell, OK, 7 grandchildren: Crystal Braxton, Renee Matlock, Morgan Horn, Madison Horn, Kalyn Croley, Gabrial Croley, all of Stilwell, OK, and LeAnn Ludwig of Pocola, OK, 5 great grandchildren: Caleb Walden, William Braxton, Calvin Braxton, Hunter Matlock and Fisher Matlock, all of Stilwell, OK, sisters: Catherine Weavel, Jimmy Poteet, Dianne Paden and Ann Fountain, all of Tahlequah, OK, Betty Gibson and Shirley Adair, both of Stilwell, OK, Mickey Campbell and Terri Brewer both of Sallisaw, OK. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2009 at RobertsReed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Blue Hothouse officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReed-Culver Funeral Home.
