Terry Lee Doublehead, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on June 5, 1963, Terry was known for his radiant spirit and boundless enthusiasm for life.
Terry's passions were many; he found joy in the simplest of pleasures from shopping at Costco to watching cooking shows. His love for travel allowed him to explore new places and cultures, and he delighted in gatherings that revolved around good food and stories. Whether cheering for the Oklahoma Sooners during football season or discussing interesting bits of history, Terry had a way of engaging everyone around him with his inquisitive nature and infectious laughter.
Terry held a special fondness for the legend of Bigfoot, often sharing amusing stories with friends and family. He dedicated countless hours to building memories with his nieces and nephews, ensuring they always felt cherished and adored.
He is survived by his brothers Jerry Wynos, Denton Doublehead, Leroy Doublehead, and Charley Doublehead, along with his sister Anna Stanford. Terry also leaves behind his dear friend George Hearne, as well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Charley Doublehead Sr. and Bernice Doublehead, as well as his brothers Mike Wynos and Clifford Wynos, his sisters Jackie Miracle and Marilyn Wynos, and his special nephew Jerico Wynos.
Though he has departed from this world, Terry's spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. His zest for life, compassion for others, and infectious joy will be dearly missed but fondly remembered in life’s many moments.
